Service Description: The MNDNR Forest Inventory Old Growth layer represents forest stands recognized or proposed as old growth through collaboration among DNR Forestry, Fish and Wildlife, Ecological and Water Resources, and Parks and Trails divisions. These stands are identified and evaluated for their ecological, structural, and habitat significance and are continuously updated in the 4Trees System to support conservation and management planning.
